Mayor Avila's Town Hall: From Awareness to Action: Addressing Human Trafficking and Online Exploitation

  • The Center at Deltona 1640 Drive Martin Luther King Boulevard Deltona, Florida, 32725 United States (map)

Join Mayor Santiago Avila, Jr. for an important community town hall focused on protecting our children and strengthening our community's awareness of human trafficking and online exploitation.

As technology continues to evolve, traffickers and online predators are using digital platforms to target, manipulate, and groom young people in increasingly sophisticated ways. This educational event, presented in partnership with One More Child, will provide valuable information on the warning signs of online exploitation, the tactics used by predators, and practical steps parents, educators, professionals, and community members can take to recognize risks and help protect our youth.

Together, we can move from awareness to action by equipping our community with the knowledge and resources needed to keep our children safe.

This event is free and open to the public. We encourage parents, grandparents, educators, youth leaders, first responders, faith leaders, and all community members to attend.
